Not much new in my world...

It's been a while since I last posted. Probably due to things going problem-free lately. Until now...

It seems that my laptop hard drive is on the fritz and is about to die on me. Last week, it started making these strange rattling crunching noises. It also didn't want to boot up and couldn't find the operating system either.

Now, I'm in the market for either a new HD or laptop. Wish me luck... More later.

Vidcasting

With the ever-popular interest of podcasting and the use of video in podcasting, I'm beginning to get the itch to do something in the world of Vidcasting. As for the subject area, I'm not sure. Perhaps an inspiration will find its way into my thoughts in the near future. Could it be on tech, parenting, cycling, hockey or some other topic, I'm not sure. If you happen to have a suggection, please drop me a line on this blog. Thanks.

TWiT

The former hosts of "The Screen Savers" on G4/TechTV (Leo Leporte, Kevin Rose, Patrick Norton, Yoshi, etc.) host this weekly podcast on anything Tech.

I downloaded their mp3's, converted them to Ogg Vorbis and listen to them on my T5 using Aeroplayer. Great content and entertainment.

With this being my first real experience into podcasting, I have to say it's refreshing from radio. I even burned a couple episodes onto CD to listen to in my car on my commute to and from work. It's a great way to pass the time away...

Systm

Kevin Rose and company have created a new Tech show that we've been deprived of this past year. Ever since TechTV was bought out by G4, things have gone downhill in the tech-content arena. Former hosts from TechTV (Screen Savers, Call for Help, etc.) will be present in these downloadable episodes. We wish you luck and welcome back!
